Since the invention of the automobile consumers purchased cars without the need to find a way to “fuel” up at home. Now with the advent of the Electric Vehicle (EV) & Plug-in Hybrid cars, owners need a convenient, daily, fast at home frustration-free charging solution. Many new EVs include a home charger. Using this charger plugged into a standard 120V outlet can take up to 3 days to charge an EV. This type of charging is called Level 1 Charging.

The charger supplied with your EV may have the ability to charge much faster, 8 hours for a full charge. To achieve the increased speed a 220V 50-amp circuit is required. This type of charging is called Level 2 Fast Charging. The power level required is similar to an oven or dryer. Additional skilled electrical work and upgrades to a home maybe needed in order to benefit from Level 2 Charging.

*All Installation Packages include the mounting of 1 customer provided EV charger within a 5-foot radius of the homes electrical panel. Plus, the installation of necessary circuit breaker(s), outlet receptacle, 5 feet of wire, bushing, cut in box, cover and labor. Any extra hardware, panel upgrades, additional wire beyond the 5 feet and conduit if required will be sold separately.
